Recorded — and the file is already yours

Tab, screen or camera with audio, saved as a regular MP4 on your computer. Passwords and emails are blurred in frame, and the recording survives a browser crash.

Free · no account · Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, Arc, Yandex Browser

Try a recording 00:00

Press Record and pick a screen, window or tab. It stops by itself.

The demo stops at 15 seconds. The extension has no such limit, plus an editor and a library.

An explanation you can trust

Recsavo is made for short work videos: show a client a setting, a colleague a procedure, a developer a bug.

  1. 01

    Record

A tab with its audio, a window, the whole screen or just your camera. A recording panel with pause, countdown and click highlights.

  2. 02

    Review

Emails, phone numbers, card numbers and passwords are blurred while you record. In the editor, hide any area and cut the pauses.

  3. 03

    Send

A regular MP4 for an email, ticket or chat. No links into someone else's cloud: the file is yours.

Cut the pauses with one button

Recsavo listens to the recording and finds where you were silent. Watch the track shrink.

Before 0:42After 0:42

Demo on a prepared track. In the extension, pauses are found in your recording's real audio, and you see each one before saving.

Personal data stays out of the frame

Turn the blur on and see what your recipient will see.

  • Passwords and card fields — always, when blur is on.
  • Emails, phone and card numbers in page text — by format checks.
  • Any block — with a click; the rule is remembered for the site.

Honest limits: text inside images, videos and other sites' embedded frames can't be detected. Before a public link, Recsavo suggests reviewing the recording.

Right now — a free beta

While Recsavo is in beta, payment is switched off. You buy nothing and lose nothing.

First 7 days

Everything: 4K and 60 fps, no length limit, pause removal, captions, drawing, GIF.

Then — free

Recordings up to 10 minutes, up to 1080p, unlimited number of videos. Personal-data blur and cutting segments are always free.

Pro — later

A paid version comes after the beta. We'll announce the price in advance; recordings made in the beta stay with you.

Questions

Why not from the Chrome Web Store?

Recsavo is in beta and still in pre-publication review. For now it installs from a file in a minute — see the install page. Updates are manual until the store version is out.

Where are my videos stored?

On your computer: in Downloads and in the extension's library. Videos are never sent to our servers.

What if the browser closes mid-recording?

The recording is written to disk every second. Next time, Recsavo offers to recover it; usually no more than a couple of seconds are lost.

Can I record system audio on a Mac?

In Tab mode, the tab's audio is always recorded. The browser can't capture all Mac audio — a macOS limit; use tab recording or your microphone for app sound.

How do I share a link?

For now, send the MP4 as a regular file: in an email, ticket or chat. Upload to your own Google Drive and Yandex Disk is coming: the file will go straight to them and stay private by default; you will turn on a public link yourself.

Does it work in Edge, Opera, Arc, Yandex Browser?

Yes, they're Chromium browsers. A Firefox version is in progress: screen and camera recording work there, tab recording doesn't.

Does the blur hide everything?

No, and we don't claim it does. It covers passwords, card fields, emails, phone and card numbers in page text, and blocks you pick. Check text inside images and other sites' embedded frames yourself.

How much does it cost?

Nothing right now. All features for the first 7 days, then the free mode. A paid version comes after the beta.
